Baba Honey

  • flour - 1 kg
  • honey - 550 Gram
  • yeast - 70 grams
  • cream - 1 cup
  • egg yolks - 10 pieces
  • sugar - 1/4 cup butter
  • oil - 400 grams
  • salt - to taste

Baba - sweet pastries from yeast dough.Preparation: Dissolve yeast in a small amount of warm milk or cream.Bring the honey in a saucepan to a boil and remove foam.Remove pan from heat, add the cream and flour and mix gently.You should have no very stiff dough.Give the dough to cool until it is warm.Add the yeast mixture and mix thoroughly.Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and put in a warm place to dough increased in volume.Grease baking dish with softened butter and sprinkle lightly with flour.Preheat oven to 180 degrees.Beat the egg yolks with the sugar.Add to batter melted and slightly cooled butter, whipped egg yolks and salt.Add an additional amount of flour, if necessary.Well knead the dough and put in shape.The forms should be filled halfway.Bake until cooked.
