Pasta with bacon and tomato sauce

  • olive oil - 1 tbsp.Spoon
  • bacon, diced - 4 slices red onion
  • - 1 Each
  • cloves garlic - 2 pieces
  • red pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • peeled tomatoes - 900 grams
  • salt and pepper - - to taste
  • Italian pasta Orekkette - 450 Gram

In a medium saucepan heat the oil over medium heat.Add the bacon and fry until browned and crisp, about 4 minutes.Add the onion and cook until softened, 3 to 5 minutes.Add garlic and red pepper, stir and cook until fragrant, 1 minute.Add tomatoes, breaking a them and season with salt and pepper.Bring the sauce to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.Meanwhile, in a large saucepan of salted water to cook pasta 1 minute less than that stated in the instructions.Drain pasta in a bowl and set aside.Return the pasta to the pot.Add pasta to the sauce and water to mix.Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.Serve the pasta with grated cheese and parsley.
